Northeastern Log Homes Launches Five-state Expansion in Midwest - Regional Headquarters in Louisville, KY
Louisville, KY, September 10, 2004 --- Northeastern Log Homes, Inc. is
expanding its Midwest sales force with a network of full-time Certified
Sales Representatives who will market the company's log homes in a
five-state region. The states include Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and Indiana
as well as Kentucky.
The company's model home and offices in LaGrange, Kentucky, outside
Louisville, will serve as a regional training center and headquarters to
oversee the operation. With a 60-acre manufacturing facility in Kenduskeag,
Maine, Northeastern was founded in 1972 and, in 1976, established a model
home and office in Kentucky.
In response to current regional requirements, Certified Sales
Representatives will be closer to their customers and able to play a more
active, hands-on role in the building process.
Says Jonathan French, Northeastern Log Homes, CEO, "With Certified Sales
Representatives working through a regional headquarters in Louisville, we'll
have a team of independent business professionals in place who are able to
maintain our product knowledge standards and offer superb local service."
As part of the expansion strategy, the company is recruiting business owners
and professionals who work full-time in the log home and other systems-built
home industries, residential construction, and real estate sales. The
company is also recruiting qualified owners and builders of Northeastern Log
Homes who are familiar with the product.
Promotions & Appointments Northeastern Log Homes' Jon Bednarski, who has
managed the Louisville sales operation for 24 years, has been promoted to
regional sales manager. Bednarski will recruit, train and supervise
Certified Sales Representatives from the company's sales center and office
in LaGrange, Kentucky.
Dan Golemboski, who joined Northeastern in 1999, has been named a Certified
Sales Representative for the Louisville territory. Golemboski, a licensed
general contractor, will also be based at the model home in La Grange.
Additionally, Joseph Gill, a Northeastern Log Homes builder with 20 years of
experience, has joined the company as a Certified Sales Representative. Gill
will serve central Indiana from his model home and office in Greenfield,
Indiana.
"Our goal calls for having 10-12 fully-qualified Certified Sales
Representatives in place in the five states within 24 months," explains
Bednarski. He adds, "With local representation and regional control in
LaGrange, we will be well-positioned to respond to the needs of the consumer,
compete effectively in these states and continue to reinforce the
Northeastern brand through our network of highly trained and motivated
professionals."
In addition to expanding in this market, Northeastern continues to operate
and increase the number of company-owned model homes staffed by full-time
sales associates.
