LOG SCREWS STANDARD WITH ALL LOG PACKAGES
Northeastern log Homes has always been an innovator with our log
wall system, introducing 12 inch spiral spike in 1991 to prevent our
log wall system from settling.
When Northeastern Logs Homes wanted a solution to our growing
customers and builders who wanted to use screws to fasten their log
walls together we contacted OMG, Inc., leaders in fasteners.
OMG, engineer's with input and testing from Northeasterns
engineering department worked together to come up with a
fastener to meet Northeastern's strict standards for log wall
construction. The result was the NEW FastenMaster®

double thread fastener not only
achieves Northeasterns goals for log wall construction it also
complies with the International Code Council's (ICC)new code for log
homes, "The Standard on The Design and Construction of Log
Structures" which is being
introduced into national building codes.

Features include;
Upper threads reduce settling by restricting movement
Bottom threads pull logs tightly together
No Pre-Drilling
Self countersink head style
Removable
Corrosion Resistant
No sledge hammer damage
Greatly reduces labor time
100% American Made
The final result was the Brookfield Model.
